WVW Student Council Honors Fallen Servicemen at Plymouth American Legion
Wyoming Valley West Student Council honored the fallen by delivering speeches celebrating the lives and work of those lost at the annual Memorial Day ceremony sponsored by the Plymouth American Legion.

Guitars and Stars
áWyoming Valley West Orchestra musicians were nominated and won runner-up for the Froggy 101 Guitars and Stars Support the Arts contest. Mrs. Eyer and several of her students were presented the big check at the Kirby Center on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017. This win celebrates the musicians work and assists the music program in on-going fund raising efforts to help maintain the WVW music program.

Band Students attend Regional Festival
Under the direction of Mr. Kolojejchick, seven students represented Wyoming Valley West High School at the 2017 PMEA Region IV Band Festival at Central Columbia High School.

2017 PA Community on Transition Conference

The primary purpose of this conference is to expand the capacity of schools, agencies
and communities, in partnership with youth, young adults and families, in promoting the
successful transition of youth/young adults with disabilities to post-school outcomes of
employment, post-secondary education and training, community participation and healthy
lifestyles. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about effective practices to assist
youth/young adults with disabilities to explore possibilities, take advantage of their
opportunities, and actively advocate for their future.
